Rynts Vendor Terms and Conditions
Effective from 12th July 2023
Welcome to Rynts! By registering and listing items on our platform, you agree to abide by the following
terms and conditions. These are designed to protect both you (the vendor) and the renter while
ensuring smooth operations on Rynts.


1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to become a vendor.

All vendors must provide valid identification and contact details. Rynts reserves the right to verify vendor information and decline registration if necessary.


2. Item Listing & Descriptions
Vendors are responsible for accurate descriptions, photos, and conditions of their items.
Only items that are clean, functional, and safe for public use may be listed.
Misrepresentation may lead to delisting or account suspension.


3. Rental Pricing & Availability
Vendors determine the rental price and availability of their items.


Rynts may suggest pricing guidelines for competitiveness.
Items must be available for delivery or pickup as indicated in your listing.


4. Booking and Fulfillment
Once a rental request is accepted, the vendor must fulfill it promptly.


Vendors must ensure items are in agreed condition at the time of handover.
Late or failed delivery may result in penalties or vendor suspension.


5. Payment & Commission
Rynts takes a 10% commission on every successful rental transaction.
Payments to vendors will be made within 1 – 3 Days after the rental period ends, pending item
return verification.
Vendors must have a valid bank account linked to their Rynts profile.


6. Cancellations & Disputes
Vendors must notify Rynts immediately if they cannot honor a confirmed rental.
Frequent cancellations may result in account review or suspension.
Rynts will mediate disputes fairly between renters and vendors.


7. Item Returns & Damage
Vendors must inspect items upon return. If damaged, report to Rynts within 24 hours.
Rynts may facilitate compensation based on the platform’s damage policy and renter
agreement.
Vendors are advised to document item condition before dispatch.


8. Prohibited Items
Items that are illegal, hazardous, expired, or violate local laws are strictly prohibited.
Rynts reserves the right to remove any item from the platform without prior notice.

9. Liability & Insurance
Vendors are responsible for ensuring their items are safe and compliant.
Rynts is not liable for injury, loss, or damage caused by rented items.
We recommend vendors obtain appropriate insurance for high-value assets.


10. Termination of Vendor Account
Vendors may deactivate their account at any time, provided there are no ongoing rentals.
Rynts may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, fraud, or abuse.


11. Modifications
Rynts reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
Vendors will be notified of significant changes via email or in-app notification.

Rynts Vendor Logistics & Delivery Policy


This policy outlines the standards, responsibilities, and expectations for vendors on the Rynts platform
regarding item delivery, setup, and pickup.


1. Delivery Responsibilities
Timeliness: Vendors must deliver all rented items to the customer’s specified location at least
24 hours before the Event/Usage start time or within the agreed time window.
Professionalism: Vendors must ensure delivery personnel are courteous, uniformed (if
possible), and adhere to basic professional standards.
Condition of Items: All items delivered must be clean, functional, and in excellent condition. Any
damages or visible defects must be communicated to the renter and Rynts support before
delivery completion.


2. Delivery & Pickup Process
Access Coordination: Vendors are responsible for confirming access to the delivery location
prior to dispatch.
Setup Support: Where applicable (e.g. tents, furniture, tech equipment), vendors must provide
setup and installation, unless otherwise stated in the rental agreement.
Pickup Timeline: Pickup should be conducted immediately after the Event/Usage unless
otherwise agreed. Late pickup must be communicated and approved in advance.


3. Delivery Documentation

Delivery Documentation Requirement
All vendors must submit proof of delivery documentation (including delivery photos, signed
delivery notes, or digital confirmation) to the assigned Rynts Agent immediately after successful
item drop-off.
The documentation should include:
o Date and time of delivery
o Item list with quantities
o Recipient’s name and signature (or digital confirmation)
o Any comments or exceptions (e.g., missing/damaged items.

4. Delivery Charges
Vendors must clearly specify delivery and pickup charges in their product listing or vendor
dashboard.

Hidden or inflated charges post-booking are not permitted.
Vendors who offer free delivery within specific zones must honor that commitment unless
otherwise updated and approved by Rynts.


5. Delivery Failure & Penalties
Missed Delivery: Vendors who fail to deliver at the agreed time without prior notice may be
penalized with partial or full payment forfeiture.
Late Setup: If setup is not completed before the Event/Usage start time, and the renter is
affected, Rynts reserves the right to process a partial refund and debit the vendor accordingly.
Customer Complaints: Repeated delivery-related complaints may lead to suspension or
delisting.


6. Return & Item Condition
Vendors must inspect all returned items for damage.
Any item damaged due to renter negligence must be reported within 24 hours using the Rynts
Claims Form for compensation processing.
Normal wear and tear is not eligible for claims.
7. Rynts Support
Vendors may request Rynts logistics coordination (optional add-on) subject to availability.
Rynts may assist in resolving any disputes related to delivery or pickup provided vendors submit
supporting documentation.


8. Uniform Requirement Rynts Uniform Compliance: All vendors or their delivery agents must wear the official Rynts-
branded uniform when delivering or picking up items.

This is to ensure brand consistency, customer trust, and professional representation of the Rynts
platform.

 Vendors who fail to comply with this policy may be flagged, and repeated violations can result in
penalties or suspension from the platform.

For Customers (Renters)
RYNTS CUSTOMER TERMS AND CONDITIONS


These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Rynts platform as a renter (customer) and by
accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by them.


1. Order & Payment
All payments must be made in full before an order can be confirmed and processed.


If your rental includes installation of a marquee or other setup services, full payment must be
made at least one week before your Event/Usage setup date.


Prices listed on the platform are final for the items themselves, but exclusive of applicable taxes
or additional fees, unless otherwise stated.
Rynts reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order due to inaccuracies, unavailability, or
breach of terms.


2. Delivery & Retrieval
Items rented or purchased will be delivered on the date specified during checkout.
Rented items must be available for pick-up immediately after the Event/Usage or as scheduled.
Failure to return items as agreed may incur additional charges.
3. Returns & Refunds
Items rented and checked out from our warehouse are considered final. If unused, they are not
eligible for a refund.
Items are non-refundable or interchangeable after dispatch, regardless of change in
Event/Usage preference.
For rented items, returns are only accepted if:
o The item is defective upon delivery.
o The return is initiated within 12 hours of receiving the item.
o The item is unused and in original packaging.

4. Refundable Deposit
A refundable security deposit is added to every rental invoice.


This deposit covers any loss or damage while the item is in your possession.

If items are returned in good condition, your deposit will be refunded on the next Tuesday
following retrieval.


If items are damaged or missing, the issue will be assessed within 48 hours and the deposit
adjusted accordingly.


If the damage exceeds the deposit amount, you are required to either:
o Pay the outstanding balance, or
o Replace/repair the item to our satisfaction.

5. Damages
In the Event/Usage that a rented item is damaged during your use:
o You agree to pay 50% of the repair cost, or
o Replace the item in its original condition within a stipulated timeframe.

6. Theft
If a rented item is stolen under your custody:
o You agree to pay 100% of the item’s value, or
o Replace it in its original condition within a stipulated timeframe.

7. Delays & Penalties
Any delays in returning rented items will attract a daily penalty fee.


The fee will be charged per day, per item, until the item is returned or replaced.


8. Rental Time Frame
All rentals are based on a 24-hour cycle.
Early delivery or late retrieval may incur extra charges. These will be invoiced separately.
Cancellation & Postponement
If an order is cancelled:
o 5 days or more prior to the setup/delivery date are eligible for a 50% refund.
o 2 days or less prior to the setup/delivery date are not eligible for a refund. 

Force majeure (e.g., natural disasters): No refund, but a reschedule may be arranged.
If your Event/Usage is postponed, you must notify Rynts immediately. We will check item
availability and confirm new dates.


If originally requested items are unavailable after postponement, we’ll suggest alternatives.
Rynts is not obligated to supply the original item or refund it.
9. Liability
 Rynts is not liable for delays caused by force majeure Event/Usage, including natural disasters,
traffic, or unforeseen logistics issues.

 Customers are advised to inspect their items upon delivery and report any concerns
immediately.
10. Platform Use
Misuse of the platform including fraudulent transactions, misrepresentation, or abusive
behavior may result in account suspension or legal action.


11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms will first be resolved amicably between both parties. If
unresolved, the matter will be referred to arbitration in accordance with the laws of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria.


12. Amendments
Rynts reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued
use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes made.
